Are you able to use the reduction factors for ranges and dryers to reduce the neutral if I used the optional calc method?
 
Yes, unless I am mis-reading 220.82
Feeder and serviceentrance conductors whose calculated load is determined by this optional calculation shall be permitted to have the neutral load determined by 220.61.
