Reliance 10 circuit transfer switch trips breaker.

Have a Honda 8500 generator and installed a reliance transfer switch. Even in the off position the breaker on the generator trips. Using 240 4 prong connector.
It is wired to a sub panel with a separate neutral and ground bar, wired accordingly.
Have the ground wire from the exterior plug connected to the ground wire that goes to the sub panel
Ohm checked the wiring to the sub panel no shorts, verified from the plug on the generator to the transfer switch is wired correctly.

I will only say that your generator probably has the ground and neutral bonded and that will cause the breaker to trip. We can't assist those not in the electrical industry per Forum rules. You will need to find out if the generator can be unbonded and go from there. If you don't understand this, get some professional help locally.
