I usually see these units surface mounted. The panel that I need to install this transfer switch to is flush mounted in a sheetrock wall? Any suggestions on how to install this?

Is there anything wrong with installing the conduit body behind sheetrock? Thanks for the help.

Order the flush mount kit from your supply house. I installed one like that this past winter in a finished basement.

FYI...The top of the unit wont be completelly flush with the drywall, if I remember correctly it protruded about 1 1/2 inches (mounted in a 2 X 4 wall).
