Remodel Infrared Heat Lamp fixture.

Does anyone here know of a remodel fixture (installed after the fact) that is a heat lamp for a bathroom?

I missed 48 of them on a poorly clouded change order and now need to put them in finished bathrooms.

Basically something like this Broan 161 but able to be installed without access to the ceiling space other than the hole that is cut to install it.

I tried looking for ya. You might be able to cut a hole smaller than the trim and slide it up the box side 1st. Cut it next to a joist if possable. Or maybe put a 2X4 on each side of the hole loosely sitting on top of the drywall so you can screw the light into it.

That's a bummer. You should be able to do them old work. The first few might be slow but by 19-20 you should be able to do them blindfolded.

How are you going to get power to the unit?

If you have power there this is what I would do-- I believe you can cut the fan out and diagonally slip it into the hole. If you are next to a joist attach it rthere with screws and let the bars lay on the sheetrock on the opposite side.

If you are not by the joist then cut two pieces of 2x4 at least 3 or 4 inches longer than the hole and put them up through the hole on opposite side lay it down next to the hole and use a few drywall screws thru the sheetrock to hold the wood in place. Make sure the screws are close enough to cover with the trim.

Now just slide in the unit and attach to the wood.
