I have a project in design that will have an optional branch only diesel generator for some fuel pumps. Does NFPA 110 require the installation to have a remote annunciator? Can someone point me in the right direction where I could find in the code where it requires or does not require the remote annunciator for the optional branch generator?

I haven't been able to find anything code wise specific for this situation.

If the generator is only supplying Article 702 Optional Standby load then no part of NFPA 110 would apply (see NFPA 110.1.1.3(6)). No remote annunciator would be required.
