Does anybody make a very small remote control receiver that I can put in a ceiling fixture box?

I snaked a feed to a ceiling location over a dining room table. To run a switch leg to a wall switch would be very difficult. I'd like to just put a receiver in the box and mount a remote on the wall but the only ones I have seen are made for ceiling fans that mount in the canopy. That won't fit in the smaller fixture canopy. Seems like someone must make one to fit in the 4" round box.

yes they do and you can get them from levington and from some discount stores like menards or homedepot..they are used with cieling fans..

The op said that the ceiling fan controls are too large. Maybe you mean they have smaller ones????

Thanks, I was at Granite City today before I knew I needed one.
