I am 60% this is a code-compliant solution but I just want to gut-check myself. The background here is that we needed to separate out the service disconnect from the MDP and locate it outside. We are bonding the neutral and ground at the outside service entrance switch but the contractor wants to join all of the GEC at a ground bus located next to the MDP and then run a bonding jumper out to the service entrance equipment. I've included a rough sketch of what we are thinking, I first I thought there might be something wrong but if we consider 450.64 the bonding jumper between the inside ground bus and the exterior service equipment is still continuous. Any thoughts or suggestions?
