How often would you have to actually remove the circuit back to the power source? By code could abandon it? Guess for bidding purposes one should price to remove? The panel is about 80' away and it's a dedicated circuit. Maybe could even use existing circuit for new wash bar GFI.

Who has the contract to remove the existing wiring that is to be demolished? Often the electrician will de-energize and the demo contractor will remove the wiring, cables, raceways, ETC.

It's a bid. Not sure who will include what. Yes that is usually the case but selective demo is something different and I believe what I posted I don't think the demo guy or laborer would remove mc cable above existing to remain ceilings.
 
Is the note in the Electrical documents? If so include it in your your bid number or ask for clarification in a pre bid question.
