Removing Recptacles

Hello everyone. I'm removing old receptacles from a house. These receptacles have two hots and two neutrals and 2 grounds are pigtailed. When removing one of the outlets the lights turned off but I like the lights to remain working. How do I cap off the two neutrals and two hots to keep the lights working is my question. Thanks

Take a look at the receptacle that you removed, particularly at the screws that the wires were connected to. Then think about it.
