Rent a license

How do you all feel about this? Electrical companies that rent a license from some one with a license that don?t even work at the company and rarely makes stops to look at any jobs. There seems to be allot of these companies in my area I guess there just not that smart enough in this Ares, or maybe there just lazy. Any way I think this act violates the reason for a license in the first place and think that states like mine and others should consider changing there requirements.

Would you want your doctor working on your body with out his certification I think not. Or is electrical so in-important that it doesn?t matter.

I have been in the trade for thirty years I hold a masters License but for me to get licensed in every state would not be cost effective it is much easier to "rent " a license to pull permits. Having a license means you can pass a test it does not mean you are qualified to do work. I know several guys that know whats on the test but are lost in the field.I really don't like the government telling me I am or am not qualified.
