Hello folks,
I'm curious — what would be the best practical way to repair a broken unused knockout (conduit terminator - https://maind.com/docs/brochures/utilityvaultproducts.pdf) in a precast manhole, where its plastic membrane got breached? I suppose a temporary solution is to seal it with a mechanical duct plug that matches the I.D. size of the knockout (for example, 4.5" for 4" conduit terminator), but I'm not sure if that is code compliant or best practice to prevent undermining of the soil around the manhole.
