Hi guys,
I'm an industrial electrician that hasn't done residential for 20 years.(except for friends and family) A good friend ask me to help him with a new service in his rental home. The exsisting service is in a dirt basement, that most of is a crawl space, and no place is more than 5.5 feet high. The current disconnect is in a crawl area. I don't have good knowledge of current code requirements for what I need to do to make this legal as far as location. I don't think I can put even a disconnect in the crawl area, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts?
