Replacement cord caps -suitable for outdoor use?

I have a few extensions with replacement cord caps and connectors on them. Can I safely use them for Christmas lights outdoors? I have always been nervous about this so I stick to my "good" cords that still have the molded ends intact.

You'll need to place WARNING signs on your lawn indicating all the potential dangers your Christmas, I mean "holiday" lights and extension cords might pose.

And in California you might need energy credits.

No problem, I can just let Big Brother...I mean, the California government know that I intend to use those new fangled LED "Holiday" lights.

Just plug into a receptacle with gfci protection and you shouldn't have any problems.
