Replacing breaker panel cover

Does anybody know if I can possibly buy a new panel cover to replace this? The hinges are broken and I'd rather not have to fabricate one.

That's a challenger panel so I suggest you find a sheet metal worker and see if he can either fix what you have or make a new one.

Challenger is no longer in business and in general the new panels are not like the old panels.

Thanks, it's not the answer I was hoping for but I'm sure it's the correct one. The first two metal companies I called to do this work turned me down. I assume it doesn't matter that I just need the door part?

What's the reason they want the cover, aesthetics or to close in the hinge holes?

Aesthetics, yes, but also this is right in the middle of the kitchen so we want to make sure nothing gets touched when not in use.

Might try piano hinges, as suggested.

Or even a couple of cabinet hinges. And advise the customer to hang a picture over it.

If its in the middle of the kitchen its going to look ugly even with an OEM door. Have a cabinet maker make a face frame with cabinet door that fits over panel.

I was going to say Ebay as well. Just find a used one, sand it, and paint it if it needs it.
