Replacing fluorescent troffers with LED

When a customer wants fluorescent 4 bulb 2x4 T8 troffer fixtures replaced, what LED troffers do you recommend to get the same lumens brightness? ( a store showroom with 17 fixtures). Thank you

I remove the ballasts and install direct-wire LED tubes in the existing fixtures.

You almost never get the same thing you replaced. But often if you try to achieve the same you end up with what at least seems a little brighter and the owner/users are usually happy with that.

Key is to know what original lumens and color temp was, and select new that is near the same values. Differences in optics/light distribution can still make it seem different though. Might not get as much of a variance on a troffer style luminaire as you can get on other styles though.
