Back at school we had a VCR-sized instrument called a vector voltmeter, which somehow measured voltage and phase angle. Doing a Google search, I see that they still exist.
You should be able to get the same result reading a scope display.

Do anyone ever use this thing nowadays when troubleshooting polyphase circuits?

Size one appears larger to me than the default size. Is it the same for you guys?

If you are using Internet Explorer

Click "Tools" > Click "Internet Options" > Click "Accessibility".

Uncheck "Ignore Font Sizes Specified On Web pages"

Size 2 is the default. Size 1 is too small to read!

Now to the original post, I've never used one. I do have a VCR though. Somewhere.

I don't want it so large I appear to be shouting (Size 5).

It also depends on the size of font that your computer displays. I can change the size of the letters without changing font sizes by pressing "CTRL" and running the wheel on my mouse up and down. Changes the text on the screen smaller/larger.

Now that you mention it, it also works on my computer.

Ay, yi, yi, I'm going back to default values, shown here, since I don't want to pursue a master's degree in font technology.
