Res calculation spreadsheet locked up

I can't seem to get the HVAC portion of the Mike Holt res load calc spread sheet to work? the drop downs to pick size of unit do not function.
Any tips are greatly appreciated. Do I need to unlock something?

Have you used it before and it stopped working properly or is it first time use?

What software are you opening it with. There are "viewer" programs that will open a spreadsheet and let you see the basic content, but will not let you change anything, you can not use such a sheet with one of those "viewers"

I am using excel for mac for the first time.
all other fields I can enter its just the drop downs for the AC's that do not function?
