research paper on wind turbines

hey that's going on everyone , i need to write a research paper on renewable energy's and im choosing to due wind turbines , i was just wondering if anyone knew of some good websites or former threads that had stuff to due with my topic that i can pull some information from

Your paper based on them being the savior of all our enegy woes or the serious dangers they present and the high failure rates?
 
well i mean its a research paper so i guess it can go both ways , its not a paper written on opinion more of just the facts out there , so like i said , just was wondering if anyone knew any good sites or any former threads that might help

There is a new article for the 11 Code on Wind Turbines, you can download the material at the NFPA website. There were two proposals (mine was one) and a lot of comments.

All I can say is WOW!!

That is great info as talks are now in process to build a 125 MW test facility about three miles from my house. That location will be used to manufacture and test turbines to be used in Lake Michigan to generate 1,000 MW of power.

Used to vacation there when I lived in MI. The off shore ones should not be much of a hazard to anyone besides the gulls, but the "test turbine" sounds scary. If I lived there I would fight against it.
