Residental Question

My house was built in 1959, It doesnt have any grounds but luckily its copper. My panel is located outside, its a old federal pacific with a missing a deadface. Of course it needs to be changed being a federal pacific.
But if I change the panel does the rest of the interior wiring need to updated also.
