Residential Generator wire size

445.13 state I have to size generator 115% of name plate.
Propane
108.3x1.15=124.54 amps
Natural Gas
93.8x1.15= 107.87 amps
26kw 110 amp breaker in it.

Exceptions rule is what I don't under stand. Is is talking about the 110 amp breaker on gen. Customer has 200 amps panel. so for propane i use 2 copper and NG I use 1 awg aluminum.

445.13 addresses conductors ahead of the breaker you reference. If the unit has a 110 amp breaker, you need a conductor based on that amperage.
The fuel type is not relevant,
 
just talk to guy who wrote exception in 445.13. the controller on gen is the overloading protection. we size it to nameplate rating. LP is high than NG on generator so gas matters. sorry just found out.
