Residential overhead Panel/Meters

HI, next week (Mon) we're installing a typicall 100 to 200amp panel upgrade and I cant find a Table to verify it
is ok to install 2/0 in our weather head pipe (11/2") or must we use 3/0?

2014 NEC has made a change-- 310.15(B)(7)(2). 2/0 copper is fine for a residence

I'm still on 2008. In the 2014 is 4/0 aluminum still good for 200 amp service?

What change? 2/0 copper/ 4/0 alm has been ok for 200 amps for res for the 45 years I've have been working. Check with local POCO. They usually has say so over riser requirements. FPL has a 2" riser requirement if used for support.

As long as you comply with Section 310.15(B)(7)...Go for it...or it might be (B)(6) in that edition....either way.....one of them:angel:
