I'm calculating the demand service load on a 6K sq ft home.
The home has:
3 - Dryers
3- 10KW Ovens
1- 3KW Cooktop

I researched NEC Chapter 2 quite extensively and can not find where or if, there is allowable demand load deductions for these specific loads when calculating the service load.

Any Help here?

I realize this may be a amateurs question, however after 40 years in the commercial field, I'm just not up on Residential Code.

Any response would be of great help

3-10kW Ovens according to table 220.55 will be 14kW.
1-3kW Cooktop would be 0.8*3=2.4kW from table 220.55
3 Dryers according to table 220.54 each will be still at 100% demand factor.

Hope this helps....

Greetings Unbridled,

I would only add that since you stated you do not have much experience with residential calculations that you most certainly do not want to forget also the general lighting and general-use receptacles and the other required circuits in 210.11(C)(1) - (C)(4). Since you are doing a real world calculation I would suggest viewing Part IV of the 2017 NEC and it then becomes pretty self explanatory at that point.

I agree with Paul. You are missing many factors to do this calculation. A/c, furnace, motors, dishwasher, disposal, mw, garage door, small appliance branch circuit, etc.

You did say "these specific loads" so I am assuming you have other loads covered. Little Bill gave you the sections that give you demand factors for those appliances.
