I am designing a retail store that sells BBQ equipment. It's a big open 8000 Sq ft area with LED lighting. Would this installation need occupancy sensors and ambient daylight sensors per the requirements in the Florida Building Code (2017)- Energy Conservation Section and the IECC (2015)?

I don't ever see these devices installed in retail type stores in Florida but I can't find an exemption which would allow you not to install them. Can anyone point me to where there is an exemption to this?

I didn’t think retail spaces were one of the 12 spaces that require occupancy sensors.
since they aren’t listed you don’t need the exemption.

any natural light coming in this space?
