I'm looking to install a 75kva 3 phase step up xformer onto a 200amp 3 phase 208volt panel board.
voltage needed: 460-480v
amps needed: 100amp @480v
Is it safe to reverse the primary's and secondary's on a delta- wye (480v- 240v) xformer
I know you have to remove the bond to ground(xo), does that mean you loose your ground fault protection?

100amp @480V 3-phase is 83 kVA, and so if that 100 amps is continuous a 75 kVA transformer is a little shy.
Also, the input current on the 208V side of the transformer will be (480/208) x 100A = 231A and that's not including the transformer's magnetizing current or losses. Obviously there will be inrush current as well for a short duration.
