Based on the plug in the picture. Do I need to run 2 legs of 120 v and a ground or 1 leg of 240 a neutral and a ground?

I'd be more concerned with the 10 amp limit of that plug. Does the device this goes to have a 10a max? If so, look hard at the circuit that's going to supply it.
