Hi. My company got awarded a big low voltage job in Rhode Island without realizing the Technicians need to be board certified in Rhode Island. I was asked if i can study and take the exam. I have 10 years Electrical Experience and 10 years low voltage in Florida. The company i work for has jobs country wide. Does anyone know of any exam prep courses available? Below is the link to the exam i need to take.

I doubt you will have any luck with out of state experience. RI doesnt like to license out of staters. Been there, tried that.

We see that a lot in WA, company bids a job at a chain stores state wide, no permits, no licenses. Our state started telecom licensing as the work being done was driven to the bottom of quality and safety (firestopping was one issue)

Your company may have to pay off a local certified tech to use his license.
