Just curious what method other electricians use when installing rigid steel outside between meter can and disconnect.I usually install myers hub to seal the enclosure. Is it acceptable to just use locknuts? or is this the standard practice.

to the best of my knowledge if the conduit entry is below the exposed live parts of both boxes then meyers is not necessary.

are you installing side by side or one above the other? Side by side I use PVC and just use locknut and bushing-- I never installed one above the other.

If you come in anywhere above the lowest live parts you must seal the KO some how.

Myers Hub, sealing lock nut, gasket etc. maybe even silicone or duct seal.

It just has to be acceptable to the AHJ.
