These and other similar devices usually require a strong and consistent WIFI signal as well as sometimes when there are too many devices trying to share the WIFI there is need to set some priority use for devices you want to "always" have access. Had customers with issues with Generac gensets, EV chargers, as well as multiple "Ring" products from weak signal or and getting "bump" from the WIFI as other devices come online.I set up "Nest" Thermostats ... The major problem is the "Wi-Fi" signals in a home. So, I advise extender(s)
