Riser "Box Out"

GC said they are boxing out the slab for these conduits and MC cables. Would the slab evenbtually get poured around these? No sloeeving would be required except for MC cables? THis is a plan view of vertical raceways/cables.

Unless the GC agrees to go back and have the concrete mason pour around those conduits and cables they're typically filled in with firestop. Personally I like when they leave a slot opening because additional conduits and cables can be added in the future without disturbing the concrete.
