Are you allowed to support rj45 light control cable off of T-bar ceiling wire ? I am aware that supporting line voltage electrical wiring is prohibited.

This applies to the wires holding the ceiling up, there may be more wires hanging from the deck and not attached to the tbar for supporting cables right?

Support wires added for support of wiring are supposed to be tied to the grid (or another second point), as well as being marked with red to differentiate them from the ceiling support wires.
