My question is simple can you use RMC or hard pipe in between a seal off fitting and motor enclosure or switching enclosure, in a Class 1 Div 1 area. My initial thought is no based on 501.15 A(2). Let me now your thoughts.

Second Question is on an EYS seal of fitting with a Male and Female hub, the Male side appears to be a nipple. Is this allowed between the seal off since it is a part of the seal off kit? It seems to contradict 501.15(2)

For Example, could I have coming out of a snap switch a 9-inch RMC nipple a listed union and another 9-inch nipple going to a seal off and still be within code, or for a second example a straight piece of 18" RMC right into seal off? Like the image?
