Steel vs Aluminum is one more difficult to install then the other and why? Al is obviously lighter. Thanks.

Weight is probably the largest difference. For small conduits there isn't much difference as far as installing goes.
Have used both and aluminum heavy wall. Larger sizes are a lot easier to handle but you must figure in labor saved verses price difference. I installed 1/2" Heavy wall aluminum conduit thru an existing large hole in a second floor for a tube system. In less then a year or so I had to replace it with RMC because whatever the cleaning company used to stripe off floor wax ate thru the aluminum. Also had to replace several hundred feet of 1/2" aluminum conduit in a basement hide cellar of a slaughter house. The salt in the air attached the aluminum. ( probably took ten years ).
