I've got a job where I need to get an U/G line out to a sign that's located on commercial property. There is an existing parking lot light pole that i can get power out of, and the feed would then go underground( very hard clay) thru the grass and out to the sign near the lot entrance.There are several obstructions(shrubs, some landscape stone,) and it's about a total of25'.Am I reading 300.5 correctly in that if I use RMC it only has to be 6" deep? Hand digging would be actually easier than renting a trencher since most of the run is difficult to navigate.Also, I've got two teenage boys who need something to do Saturday anyway? Thanks.

If any part of this conduit run is under the parking lot, that part of the RMC would still need to be 24" to the top per T300.5.
