In my place of work some new machinery went in and there was some specialty cement work done for load bearing purposes. Essentially 4 machines that work together in a small area at different heights.

Usually in the factories i have worked in these type situations the conduits would be buried in cement. In this case it was too late and the plan was to run 480v-120v-10vdc-24vdc in conduits on the cement floor on strut and when the levels changed to different heights attaching strut to those areas. These areas the way the machinery works should not have foot traffic except for repair purposes, The area is not subject to water or flooding.

To me this just did not feel right to anyone's knowledge is there any code prohibiting this. Btw the different voltages AC-DC will be ran in separate conduits.

Thanks for your help as usual

Are there other utilities that would connect to this machine?
Air, water, cooling?

It may be a good idea to create a rack for all of the piping to the machine.

Yes there would be some hydraulics, where the same method was planned but different strut

The 480 is a short run to different levels 1 machine 20ft

The 120v control would basically circle all units 50 ft

the low voltage would be fairly short about 15ft

We could not tray above due to overhead crane clearance issues so that was a big factor in desire to use ground level. Because at that level it would not interfere with the moving parts of the devices

RMC is permitted to be run on the surface of a concrete floor. We do it all of the time in machine rooms.
