I need to reposition a subpanel and i am curious if i can run a jumper between the RMC and the intended termination (see attached drawing)
The goal is to maintain ground fault continuity this way and i do not see any requirement that a ground wire must be INSIDE the MC(flex) cable

S-117, You need to update your profile to indicate your profession. Forum Rules.

MC and "Flex" are completely different wiring methods.

Just curious were you planning on stripping the Mc back and run that through the Rmc?
Now if your meant fmc instead of Mc then I get what your doing

Not MC, i ran empty FMC and used existing wires (which had no ground conductor).
Inspector failed it but didn't quote anything. She also didn't get to see the setup clearly

250.130(c) is only thing I know that address this. It’s only for branch circuits though and. This is a feeder. For safety reason what you did is fine but dumb code
