Rollup Doors

I had never worked on rollup doors before my present job. Have only dealt with a few here and wind up letting the door company deal with it. I'm never the one on duty when they come. They work days of course and I'm a night guy. best I can figure is that coils get weak and eventually give out. Door will work intermittently both up and down, then stop. Wil work again after a while. Have any of you worked much on rollups? Any common issues? Any good literature out there?

Sounds like possibly an auto reset thermal overload. Time to get out the schematic and multimeter.
