The structures can only be Type III, IV, and V construction and the cables must be concealed within walls, floors, or ceilings that provide a thermal barrier of material that has at least a 15-minute finish rating.
Also check the specifications. Some engineers still don't permit it to be used for their projects. I don't know of any minimum size requirements other than the general limit of #14 awg.
