Here is more info.

installed 14-2 romex for a low voltage 24volt / 150 watt halogen light fixture.

Romex is rated at 600v / 15amp / 1750watts. I've done this in the past without problems. Is there anything wrong with this application.
25 feet of wire to light. Transformer had secondary protection.

What size is the fuse or breaker on the secondary side?

The secondary side conductors will have 6.25 amps of load.

150 watts / 24 volts = 6.25 amps

I calculate a 1V voltage drop.

1.67x6.25=10.4375, The OCPD on the secondary would have to be 15A.
