Longshot here but curious if anyone has a installation pic of disconnect switch for a large roof mounted AHU.

Most of he times these are loose and not sure whether installed attached to AHU or stand-alone(close to AHU) on strut rack or something like that. THanks

What's your idea of large?

Here's a pic, but not my work. Just a Google snapshot20220310_064822.jpg

I'm not sure what you mean by loose. Generally they are bolted to something. Either the piece of equipment or as you mentioned Iraq made of strut. Or maybe on a wall.

Great picture. Large place that I retired from had VFD'S on every motor 5 HP and larger ( except for 250 HO Fire pump that had a soft start ) and most of the newer installs they cut corners and did not purchase outdoor safety switches with a normally closed switch ( when door is closed ). While contractor was PM'ing four 75 HP tower fans he used the outdoor disconnect to turn off running fans several times. Ended up doing damage to two of the drives. After that placed P touch labels on saying to only turn off motors at drive location. Never had a drive break when somebody turned off a disconnect switch that had the door mounted switch. I always liked to hit the stop button at drive and wait to it ramped to a complete stop before securing power to VFD'S .
