Hello I am a apprentice w/ about 30 months field experience. I also have a associates degree in electro-mechanical technology. So I will be able to take test in about 4 months. The contractor i work for only does medium to large jobs.....schools mainly 1 arge correctional center. I wonder if I have enough field experience to take the test and to tackle a job if (when!) I pass...any comments appreciated!

Study up on the other types of wiring methods. They will be on the test too.

Only time will tell for sure, but heck, I'll say your ready. I can't more than be wrong and wife isn't up yet so it would be the first time today.

Good luck.

Taking a test and running a project are 2 different things.

Only you know if you feel qualified to run jobs. Alot of events happening when running jobs. If you have been observant during your 2 1/2 years in the field, you should know what you can handle and what you can't.

We all know our limitations in anything we do.

Good Luck...;)
