A Rosemount transmitter, with the "E5" option is marked FM Explosion-proof, Cl I Div 1, Gr B, C, D, and is also marked 'Factory-Sealed'.
My understanding is that for my Div 2 application, no additional seal is required at the transmitter. And in the Div 2 application, seal-tite is acceptable wiring method up to the transmitter.
Is this correct? A very basic question and I have always interpreted this way, but was questioned on it.
