I'm working on a building that is CMU construction and will have precast concrete panels for the exterior. I'll have several receptacles and wallpacks going in the precast. The block is going up now, but I don't have any shop drawings of the precast. The GC isn't even sure if the panels will be cast with box openings or if we'll have to cut them onsite.
Are there any suggestions of how I can stub out of the CMU but leave some adjustability to line up with the precast? I'm thinking of changing over from EMT to flex near where the devices are shown on the prints. There will be about 4" between the outside of the CMU and the inside of the precast. That won't give me a lot of movement, but some.
