Routing of 12kV feeders thru a building

We are performing engineering work on an addition to an existing building with customer-owned 12kV feeders from the site's substation feeding the main switchboard in our building. We have to reroute the feeders (currently underground) due to the new construction. Are there any restrictions for the routing the feeders thru the building (ie: across the ceiling of an underground parking structure, up thru shafts in the building, etc)? I have searched thru the NEC, National Electrical Safety Code, Fire codes, etc but cannot find any guidance in any of them, other than NEC Articles 300, 310, and 314. Help? Thoughts?
