I preface this post by saying that I do not have any experience with electrical designs or installations in sesimic areas of the country. I have a project in Washington State. I am looking to route most of the larger electrical feeders underground, under the building's ground floor slab. Are there any special considerations I should take in a seismic zone for this feeder routing? Is this a good idea? Should I consider routing these in the ground floor ceiling in-lieu of under the ground floor slab?

Where in Washington? Once you get away from the Olympic Peninsula and the Puget Sound area, the risk drops off, especially East of the Cascade Range.
