RTDs are considered "Simple Apparatus" as identified in code section 504. When using these devices in a CID2 area, is a seal required at the connection cap?

Even if it is not an IS circuit as seal would not be required at the connection cap for a RTD element. A seal may or may not be required if the actual temperature transmitter is installed at the same location where the element is.
