It sounds like Jill has good self-preservation instincts. I understand how hard it is to let go of something you've poured a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into, but I'd go with her on this.

I'm impressed by the solar gear performance. Is it the solar gear, or crazy efficient AC and loads? I remain intrigued.
both. the box is a 3" sip with refer foam.
double paned nitrogen filled windows
thermal blackout shades inside of that

the humidity here is pretty high... it has trouble with that.
it's only 6,500 btu... when it is running full tilt, you can't hear it standing next to the trailer
dometic makes it.
 
What pooped the bed? Engine temp?
Make sure the rad and tranny cooler isnt swamped with bugs...
Im curious if you ended up with a tranny temp guage.. it sure helps to see when the thing is pushing 300°...

temps were fine.
seems to be the fuse panel got crunchy, and when it gets a good heat soak, it
shuts off power to the fuel pump. when it cools, it's fine again.

coolant and oil sit around 222. up to 230. trans goes to 205 once in a while.

Hello, I’m trying to power a welder with a lithium battery and a 48V inverter, but I’m not totally sure what setup I need.
My welder seems to pull at least 60A on startup, maybe more.
What should I watch out for when choosing a lithium battery for this?
Any basic tips would help.
