Running 480V overhead poles for temporary power: wire type etc.?

I am working on a project where they need temporary power run around 1000' or a little more to some portable offices. Since it's temporary, they don't want to get the power company to run power over there, so they are talking about running 480V overhead using private poles. I've never designed a system like this before. What kind of wire? I assume we need a ground, since there will be overcurrent protection at the source. Any other details I may be missing, maybe details about poles and minimum height?

Typical we would just use a triplex for this similar to what utilitiy companies would run

Please educate me. What kind of wire is that? Isn't a ground wire needed (because this is private and there is over current protection at the source)?

You can get a three or four wire triplex . See attached picture

Three phase isn't "needed", but I had planned on sending three phase to keep the loads divided evenly on the 480V service. There are 8 100A panels to this portable office. But maybe single phase is more practical due to the wiring constraints.
