I am looking at an installation that requires running LV control cables from one piece of equipment to another which are going to be connected with Non-Segregated Bus Duct. This is for a new installation to the Bus Duct will be constructed in sections in the field. Bus Duct is 480V 2000A.
The question was brought up weather or not Low Voltage control cables could be run inside of the Bus Duct inside flexible conduit or some other means? This would additional wall penetrations that would be necessary if these control cables were being routed in an external conduit.
I'm looking for any insight as to weather or not this is a NEC violation or bad installation practice. Any code references would be helpful.
