680.14(A) pump rooms does not list EMT

680.21(A)(2) does allow EMT in permanently installed pools, motors.

Want to hear your thoughts about it.
I was running RMC from a stainless steel panel to wire a chiller for the pool and everything in that room is wired in EMT.

I personally hate running exposed pvc.

If it is indeed a corrosive environment, then 680.14(B) (2017) does not allow EMT. PVC is warranted in this situation.

I have wired many chlorine rooms either gas or hypo. PVC works best. Make bending templates out of plywood, use clic it straps as they are fast for installing conduit. Multiple runs use fiberglass strut and clamps. Last couple of jobs had 2 runs of 1" side by side near ceiling, one power, one controls, hit 6x6x6 j boxes. Drop down with smaller conduit to devices, sensors, pumps. Use ss hardware. Fans and louvers on timers.
EMT is faster as exposed PVC takes time to look good.
