In my plant we use mostly pvc jacketed mc cable in cable tray for feeders and branch circuit wiring.
My question is can it be used without cable tray for short runs? For example i have about a 20 foot run that would be ideal if i could strap the mc cable to the wall but is this code? could it be strapped with one or two hole straps or would it need to be strut and clamps?
This cable is UV rated so could it be used outdoors from the bottom of my disconnect to my compressor mains outside?
The system we currently use the cable is from canada and uses set screw type fittings is there a better fitting system out there for pvc coated mc cable?
Looking at using southwire armorlite mc pvc coated cable 2/0 copper.
